God is Sovereign over all, meaning that nothing happens without His permission and providence. We can go through trials without thinking that God has forgotten us or that He is mad at us. The Bible teaches that trial often make us stronger and more fit for the Masters use. To identify with Christ is to suffer, and we can do so, knowing that God will never leave us or forsake us.
